It’s been almost a year since my last update! What a busy summer! I was able to collaborate with a really good friend of mine and help him with a HUGE project he undertook this year for kennywood’s phantom fright nights! So if you head down to pfn this year check out BIOFEAR!

I also been working on the nightmare’s product line. Have a few skulls that will be listed by the weeks end as well as some used items.

Last but not least the haunt has been well under way with construction with me stressing about it pretty much every day. If you made it to the haunt last year you know I raised the bar pretty high it’s been stressful trying to put together a haunt that was different yet better then last year. i decided to go with an LED setup last year in 2009 with my candle fixtures. they worked fantastic but with the amount i used it became more of a pain in the butt to flip them all on then what it was worth for me. since we spent most of the night doing our make-up it was a rush to fire the lamps and props then go around and flip on these candle sets, so for 2010 im going back to 3w flicker bulbs.

so whats that mean? my loss is your gain!

i been wanting a new website for quite some time. i want to ditch the blog software and do something fresh for the frightmare website i been pondering layouts and ideas so hopefully a new website launch after october this year!

used in the 2009 and 2010 annual haunt is the frightmare studios “slam” coffin. this is a full size toe pincer coffin with a lid and stand. the coffin lid has an eye hold cut and a handle attached. an actor would stand behind the coffin and use the peek hole to see where the guests were. once in position the actor would slam the coffin shut. this coffin includes a foam body & mask. the outside of the coffin is painted and the inside is painted and dressed with ripped and torn burlap.

AtmosFEARS scarescapes [vol.01] as everyone knows has been in production for quite some time & has FINALLY been released. well on the rotting flesh radio podcast episode 194. the AtmosFEARS scarescapes cd has been featured in the Haunt Industry News!
